• •we can use that  for either people or things :

• •WHOSE is used to show possession.it carries the same as other possessive pronouns :his,her,its,and theirs. Whose usually  modifies « people » , but it may also be used to modify « things » .

  II-THE PASSIVE VOICE

  You form the passive with the appropriate tense of the auxiliary verb be and the past participle of the main verb .

     In passive sentences, you mention the agent only if it is new or important information .
