THE PASSIVE VOICE
I-The active form :
1-Salah locks the door at 6 0’clock. 1-Salah 2-locks 3-the door --S-V-O.
2-The storm destroyed a lot of trees.
II-The passive form:
1-The door is locked at 6 o’clock.
2-A lot of trees were destroyed.
------------1-New subject 2-to be (inflected) 3-past participle.

Examples:
You must switch off the computer after use.
